Why we play

From Vacant School

Garden Oaks Community Center
Garden Oaks · NE OKC · est. 2024

Founded in 2021, the Alpha Community Foundation of Oklahoma (ACF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities across Oklahoma. ACF focuses on historically underserved neighborhoods, especially in Northeast Oklahoma City, to improve health outcomes, expand educational opportunities, promote civic engagement, and provide direct support to those in need.

At the center of ACF's work is the Garden Oaks Community Center in Northeast Oklahoma City. Once a vacant public school, it's now a vibrant hub for education, wellness, and community programs. Through this center, ACF offers after-school tutoring, mentorship, health and wellness classes, STEM camps, and other key resources for local youth and families.

Led by a volunteer board and supported by community partners and donors, ACF remains committed to collaboration and service as it strengthens the communities it serves. Tournament proceeds will benefit the Garden Oaks Community Center renovation, events and activities.

"Together, we can make dreams come true."

Questions

Everything else.

What's the format?

4 player best ball scramble, 18 holes, shotgun start at 8:00 AM. Each team plays the best ball from any of the four players. Beginners welcome — we pace teams by skill if you'd like.

Can I register a team and fill the other 3 spots later?

Yes — that's how most captains do it. Reserve as captain, leave the other slots open, and we'll send you a unique link to share with your players. They can fill in their own info up to August 15.

How does payment work?

Pay online via Stripe (Visa, MC, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay) — your registration confirms instantly. Or mark "Pay at Event" and bring cash or a check made out to the Alpha Community Foundation of Oklahoma on tournament day.

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

ACF of Oklahoma is a 501(c)(3) — EIN 86-1339855. Donations may be deductible; please consult your tax advisor. A copy of our determination letter is available on request.

Can I sponsor a hole if I don't play?

Absolutely — most of our sponsors don't play. Hole sponsorships ($500 or $1,000) include signage at a tee box, recognition on this site, and donor wall placement at $1,000+.

What's included in the foursome registration?

Green fee, cart fee, lunch, range balls, swag bag, raffle entry, and eligibility for all four contests (Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Putting Contest, Hole-in-One car).

Can my employer match the donation?

Yes. Many companies match charitable gifts to 501(c)(3) organizations like ACF. Use the form in your confirmation email or contact george@alphafoundationok.org for our W-9 and matching documentation.
